Ran my 3 miles tonite … fartlek style.
What is Fartlek?
Fartlek comes from the Swedish word which means ‘speed play’. It refers to a kind of workout in which the runner accelerates sporadically then slows down again with no particular structure. It is a kind of freestyle interval training which includes spontaneous bursts of speed depending on how the runner feels.

Did you know that Shelters Housing Aid Centres, helpline, email advice service and housing support projects give free, confidential, expert advice to more than 170,000 people in housing need every year?
I just ran longest lap ever…. 19.2 Km on a treadmill at Friskis&Svettis … man I feel drained!!!

Ahhhhhhh…. nothing like waking up and you know in the back of your mind that you can go and take a shower….. A NORWEGIAN SHOWER…. i.e. Power shower with water that doesn’t smell of chlorine. Sorry for saying this my English friends. By the way – you have much better beer and you have Salt & Vinegar crisps…
…. sitting here zippin some coffee waiting for break of dawn.
Today I need to buy those golden running shoes that is going to take me through these next three months and then hopefully through the London Marathon.
