		<description><![CDATA[Had a great run this morning around the Bygdøy peninsula in the inner part of the Oslo fjord! Well.. the roads were covered in snow.. but hey so much better than running on a treadmill!!!!!! Found some pics of Bygdøy in winter &#8230;.. <p>Anyone with some good advice on how to <a href="http://www.webcertain.com" title="Optimisers..." target="_blank">OPTIMISE</a> my preparation the last three weeks&#8230; ??</p>
<p>One thing.. why I m doing this? In support of Shelter.</p>
<p>The lack of affordable housing is at the root of Britain’s housing crisis. The British government has made a pledge to build three million new homes – but the number of homes for social renting must rise sharply if the crisis is to be resolved.</p>

<p>This week I have felt like its been harder than normal to complete my laps for some  reason&#8230;   maybe it was that ski trip on Sunday after the 26 km on Saturday that sort of messed it up. Perhaps I didnt allow my body the rest it needed.</p>
<p>However I ll go for my run this morning before heading off to work.</p>

<p>Shelter just sent me a newsletter outlining their housing advice services.  They advise 100000 people every year, many through their network of <a href="http://england.shelter.org.uk/advice/advice-1009.cfm" title="Housing Aid Centre" target="_blank">Housing Aid Centres</a>.  Shelter advises on a wide range of  housing-related issues, including homelessness, allocations, tenancy law, disrepairs, housing and council tax benefit claims, rent or mortgage arrears, harassment and violence in the home, problems with the landlord, and the prevention of homelessness.</p>

<p><span class="normaltext"><b>What is Fartlek?</b><br />
Fartlek comes from the Swedish word which means ‘speed play’. It refers to a kind of workout in which the runner accelerates sporadically then slows down again with no particular structure. It is a kind of freestyle interval training which includes spontaneous bursts of speed depending on how the runner feels.</span></p>
